Multiplicative representations of virtually free groups
Abstract. We construct a family of unitary irreducible representations weakly contained in the left regular representation. In the case of the free group, this family includes a large part of the known representations with the above properties. We show that these representations can be realized on the boundary of the group and as a corollary we deduce an analogue of Herz majorization principle.
